Patrick Simpson (Owner):
Pat started machining back in1996 and achieved interprovincial certification in 2000. Opening for business in 2006, Kieson Fab started as a small 2 man show and has steadily grown over the years. As a CWB (certified welding) supervisor and with his proficiency design/drafting programs such as CAD, Pat is truly hands on in the business he is so passionate about.
Splitting his time between site visits, machining and quoting new projects there is little time left in the long days at the shop. Both of Pats kids are active with various sports and he makes every effort to attend their activities. Pat also has been an active member of Penticton & District Search & Rescue since 1994.
Brian Vennard (Foreman):
Brian came onboard to Kieson in 2011. He brought to the table 18 years of extensive knowledge of heavy equipment fab and repair. The years of working on the ice roads north of Yellowknife instilled in Brian ‘expect the unexpected’. Being able to think on his feet and find the solution is key for the foreman of a shop that produces custom products of the highest quality.
When you come to our shop you will find Brian in the shop helping the guys, or at his desk quoting a new job & meeting with customers or maybe out in the field flying in beams – he does it all!
